Just like Jesus, the Good Shepherd, we care for our flock. Each individual within the congregation is assigned to a small group we call flocks. Each flock has someone in charge which we call a Shepherd. The Shepherds tend to their flock by keeping in touch with their members by: making phone calls, sending emails or texts, making visits, sending cards and letters. In turn, members of the flock are able to share their concerns and prayer requests with their shepherd who then passes it along to be added to the prayer request list of the church enabling not only prayers but actions to take place. These contacts keep the members of our church family connected and remind them that they are loved.
“Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10.
